Job Description
Manufacturing (MFG) engineers are responsible for delivering exciting products that are world class in cost, quality, function and time to market. As ONE team, we are committed to delighting our customers and employees by executing consistently while using common global standards, methods and processes with rigor and discipline.

Our success story: Leaders in quality, safe, fuel-efficient vehicles. Ford has a patented error-proofing Assembly Information System in place at most of its North American assembly plants to ensure a critical-to-quality assembly process, reduce worker strain and allow constant monitoring during the build. In addition, the flexible manufacturing design allows different models to be assembled in the same sequence which means they can be built in the same plant. This maximizes efficiency and allows the company to respond quickly to changing customer preferences. Ford’s EcoBoost technology uses smaller-displacement gas engines, combined with fuel-saving direct injection technologies, to provide improved fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance.
