Marketing Experience Design Internship Program
This program gives you an outstanding opportunity to learn about Ford Motor Company, the Marketing & Sales Team, and explore how we market around the United States. Internships are project-oriented and they challenge you to demonstrate strong business acumen and technical skills.

The Marketing & Sales internship program is designed to bring high talent into the company for critical work projects in functional areas such as: Export & Growth, Brand Marketing, Field Sales & Service Operations, Ford Customer Service Division, the Marketing General Office and the Digital Consumer Experience.

During your internship, our goal is to get to know you as a potential employee as well as a customer; evaluate your skills; and enable you to generate results that will help us propel our business.

What is Design Thinking?
David Kelley, IDEO defines Design thinking as a process that utilizes elements from the designer's toolkit, like empathy and experimentation, to arrive at innovative solutions. By using design thinking, you make decisions based on what future customers really want instead of relying only on historical data or making risky bets based on instinct instead of evidence. For this internship, you will have the opportunity to help Ford use this type of thinking to create experiences that meet customer’s needs.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Junior-level class standing
  • Bachelor Degree in the following fields of study
    • Business (Marketing, Management, etc.)
    • Communications
    • Design (Transportation, Interaction, Experience)
    • Psychology
    • Sociology
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be available for full-time employment by September 2019.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design Thinking background or course load (Please include relevant course load and project experience in resume).
  • Microsoft Office skills
