Use Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation project's and installations
Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems
Troubleshoot Paint Application issues and Quality Concerns
Update program backups for automation
Program new installations of Paint Automation and conveyor systems
Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements
Coordinate automation campaigns
Work weekends and nights
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
2+ years of working with Paint Automation Systems (Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki)
1+ years Microsoft Office experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
3+ years of Fanuc robot or Kawasaki programming experience
1+ year of experience working with the following Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poke-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping
1+ year of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
Independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery
Read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and body tooling techniques, in addition to networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, remote IO
Simulation modeling exposure
Familiarity with VFD’s, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls
Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
