Job Description
Responsible for engineering, design, release, and testing of Vehicle Personalization electrical products. Insure components meet functional, engineering, cost, quality, and timing targets for both production and dealer accessory programs. Optimize Design for Manufacturing, Assembly and Serviceability. Interface and communicate status with many organizations, including base program, EESE, VO and others. Provide engineering estimates for cost feasibility and timing (CFT). Account to Engineering Supervisor for compliance to Ford requirements, CDP&Rs, completion of DVP&Rs, FMEAs, and FESO sign-off. Drive warranty improvement.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years D&R experience
  • Launch experience in electrical commodity from TT to OKTB on at least one major program
  • 3+ years experience in wire harness development and electrical accessory installation
  • 3+ years experience launching products in dealer channel, production channel, and ports

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of FMEA, DVP&R & WERS , GPIRS, AVBOM, e-deviation, engineering requirements
  • Understanding and application of IDS Tool, Team Center/Digital Buck, MS Office
  • Ability to work well with teams and manage several programs simultaneously
