Job Description We are looking for a product development engineer to develop vehicle electrical architecture. The candidate would be interfacing with product development engineers across the company. This position requires a motivated self-starter that is focused on delivering results. We are seeking an Engineer in our Dearborn, Michigan location.
Communicate Core Strategies to Vehicle Architecture Teams (e.g., Module Packaging Requirements, Commodity Business Plan, Cross Vehicle Module parts, etc.)
Develop Shared Technology / Commonality Strategy
Identify emerging New Technologies
Identify and implement developed New Technologies, with consideration of the commodities affected.
Provide directional costing support for attribute gap closure proposals
Provide subsystem schematic updates for cost studies.
Lead System Level Target Setting for Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT)
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
1+ years of experience automotive electrical engineering
1+ years of experience Systems Engineering
Ability to read, understand and mark up electrical system schematics
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time and with quality
Ability to interact and communicate with others
