Position Description/Overview

The Social Media Marketing Lead will serve as the authority on social media marketing best practices, new and relevant social platforms and tying social campaigns back to business goals. This position requires a creative, strategic thinker who can apply marketing best practices to campaigns in a fast-paced environment. Core aspects of this position include working with internal and external teams, managing partnerships, advising on industry best practices, developing and implementing social media strategies, and working with our social media marketing teams around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead social media as the subject matter expert and demonstrate understanding of new avenues for testing, keeping a pulse on the social media channel overall
  • Create, collaborate and communicate on social channel strategies, including goal setting, current platform trends and future platform exploration
  • Create, communicate and drive forward the vision of social media for the company
  • Provide leadership to a team of social media marketers, building and executing on many campaigns at one time. Equip and empower the team with knowledge, context and support to set them up for success
  • Oversee tactical execution of social communications across the team, including the development of analytics to tie social campaigns back to business goals including revenue metrics

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 4+ year of progressive digital marketing experience at a Global Brand
  • 4+ years of managing digital marketing direct and indirect reports

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong consumer understanding skills, ability to translate customer insights into successful digital marketing programs and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering multifaceted digitally driven campaigns from strategy through execution
  • Demonstrated track record of leveraging data driven research/analysis to drive strategic direction and optimization
  • Communications planning and execution or brand marketing
  • Must have a desire and passion to find new ways to reach and interact with customers
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to use technology to deliver customer communications
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms
