Assist in the creation of system level technical requirements for automated vehicles
Development of test plans and procedures for verifying that internally developed automated vehicle safety targets are met
Assisting in conducting experiments to validate vehicle system and subsystem performance meet safety targets
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline
1+ years experience performing systems engineering for new technology development, developing controls for automated or autonomous vehicles, Lidar, Radar, or Ultrasonic sensors and sensing systems
1+ years experience applying Functional Safety including ISO 26262 and STPA to analyze complex control structures in automotive autonomous vehicle
1+ years experience applying multi-factor authentication and cyber security specification in autonomous-automotive applications
1+ years experience researching and applying Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to model, analyze and develop a system and modeling Virtual Driver System in Complex-Autonomous vehicles using SysML
1+ years experience modeling and simulating autonomous vehicle features using Simulink, Matlab and Labview
MS or Higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline
Experience with performing FMEAs and other Hazard analysis techniques with safety in mind.
Experience developing system-level requirements that cascade to subsystem requirements
Knowledge of the Concept level, Preliminary Design, Final Design, and Test Development Phases in Automotive Development
Experience working in a team-based project from inception to finish across multiple disciplines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in automotive or aerospace safety analysis
Experience with Software failure analysis at the architecture level
