Job Overview:

The Business Analyst’s role is to define and design business requirements for all content related digital services. This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business requirements, market knowledge, and functional requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on his or her findings, complete with recommended improvements to – or new requirements for – business requirements and features. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, a technical acumen, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of content investments and to assist in implementing content as a service.



Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct market research on content providers to justify recommendations for partnerships and digital solutions.
  • Defining Content Product & Road Map to address all business needs and use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, operations, marketing, finance, and sales teams to unlock new opportunities for growth
  • Ability to develop business requirements, understand impacts and identify potential issues across various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage the expectation of business owners, subject matter experts and key stakeholders. Comfortable interacting with senior leadership
  • Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommend business priorities, and advise on business options, risks, and costs.
  • Document the Use Cases and Functional Specifications from project business requirements.
  • Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience using data to facilitate business decisions; high growth, technology management consulting, or business intelligence background preferred
  • 2+ years hands on experience in working with software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in in Business, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Detail oriented - demonstrated capability and experience in project tracking, gathering, analyzing and tracking features
  • Experience in Modern solution architecture.
  • Inherently curious and believe in the power of data to drive decisions
  • Experience in Digital services, software as a service and Analytics is an added advantage.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner
  • Strong attention to detail and delivery track record.
  • Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) and influencing skills
  • Experience using MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Visio
  • Proven experience with business and functional, technical requirements analysis
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment and rapidly growing team
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and to recommend and implement informed choices
  • Proven ability to work independently, proactively and efficiently within established guidelines and procedures
