Support the strategy, design, and development of health care and wellbeing programs for hourly and salaried U.S. active employees and salaried retired employees
Lead business owner for multiple health plans; responsibilities include: work with health plans to identify cost reduction opportunities and efficiencies, monitor performance metrics, facilitate implementation meetings and manage required application control reviews
Develop legally required documents, e.g., Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary of Benefits and Coverage, etc.
Lead and/or assist with benefit change implementations in project management role
Lead and/or assist with Request for Proposals
Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations to cross-functional teams related to benefits and wellbeing programs, strategy, and/or recommendations
Lead and/or participate on large, complex projects as assigned on the health and welfare benefits team
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and superior problem solving skills
Demonstrated project management, change management, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills
Experience with employer sponsored benefit programs
Team player with proven track record working with and/or leading cross-functional teams
Self-starter with ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects at the same time and meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow protocol related to sensitive information
3+ years of health care benefit experience (vendor management, development of benefit strategies, benefit plan administration)
1+years’ experience in Microsoft Office applications, with exceptional PowerPoint skills
Strong overall health care background (plan design, administration, policy, communications, understanding of health care system, etc.)
Experience/knowledge of the health care reform policy and regulatory environment
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar benefits designation and/or coursework preferred
Experience with health care claims evaluation and data warehouses preferred
Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
