Assign work to unionized hourly workforce and hold employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms to safety, quality, throughput and cost
Understanding of standard material flow and sequencing operations
Support Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalities
Validate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure customer needs are met safely, smoothly, and with quality products
Strategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities under FPS to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectives
Communication and Recognition
Build Team Leader and Team Member capability and maturity
Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
Basic Administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
High School Diploma
2+ years of manufacturing experience
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
Body shop/Stamping/Paint/Subassembly experience preferred
Safety and Quality experience preferred
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Knowledge of constraint management principles
Prior experience managing a unionized work force
Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
