NOTE: This is a supplemental position with provisions and benefits different from a regular full-time position
Supervise hourly employees, both skilled and unskilled
Support and supervise site maintenance and construction activities, including job sites, shop operations, and related alliance partners
Schedule employees for critical safety compliance, SHARP, OSHIM, OSHA
Document and deploy weekly safety talks to hourly employees
Responsible for completion of Pre-Task analysis forms and daily job observations.
Support departmental cost-savings and efficiencies
Administrator for departmental MAXIMO Preventative Maintenance Process
Coordinate utility billing for Ford / AK Steel plants at the Rouge Site
Support site safety and environmental engineering projects

People skills are essential, interfacing with customers, hourly employees, UAW leadership, and management
Ability to supervise UAW hourly, skilled-trades employees – electricians, pipefitter / plumbers, millwrights, tinsmiths, stationary steam engineers and welders
Computer skills – TWOS payroll system, CPARS, OHSIM, and Microsoft Office
Broad knowledge of engineering, maintenance, construction and facility operations
Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing, industrial construction.
1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
Preferred experience in the trade/supervision/engineering and a journeyman's card .
Plant/site facility maintenance and/or construction experience
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
