Currently, we are seeking a Strategy Business Office Supervisor in our Allen Park, Michigan location.
Support VP, Global Strategy and Business Operations team, including:
Lead role in developing Key Strategy reviews (regular Board updates, Global Strategy OCM)
Support annual refresh of Strategic Compass updates (including key trends, VoW updates, interactions with other skill teams)
Lead role in developing Business Environment updates for BPR (including reviews with GVP)
Liaison role with Corp Communications for Strategy support of external engagements / conferences
Responsible for budget & business plan input, forecast updates for admin expense and consulting / M&A deal fees
Co-ordinate Strategy admin expense and headcount reporting/metrics for Corporate BPR
Lead role in developing quarterly updates of consulting spend / annual SAR update for senior leadership team
Oversight of department MCRP, GAO audits
Ad-hoc studies, including assignments from GVP & VP of Strategy
Miles Travelled modeling (update/improvements to U.S. model, liaise with regional model leads)
Interface with Exec Director, Strategy Services on monetization of various workstream initiatives, including vehicle connectivity (Project Mint), Usage Based Insurance, Telematics, etc.
Work with numerous external consultants, as well as members of multiple skill teams.
Bachelor of Science degree
3+ years of relevant work experience
Teamwork skills – ability to work well within a cross-functional team and across the Ford enterprise
Ability to influence others through communication of own thoughts and ideas
Ability to plan, organize and drive for results in an unstructured environment
Outstanding oral and written presentation skills – able to communicate ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Independent thinker, self-motivated and able to progress work with light management oversight
Comfortable with small group/1:1 senior VP interaction
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
