Use FIS Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation project's and installations.
Monitors, evaluates, and improves the overall equipment effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
Assists in determining the causes of equipment breakdowns, and evaluates manufactured products to maintain quality.
Troubleshoot PLC RS Logics, robot, and other automation problems.
Monitor machine performance.
Specify machinery changes.
Interface with machine supplier.
Specify new machinery.
Specify PM tasks and spare parts requirements.
Update program backups for automation.
Program new installations of tooling and conveyor systems.
Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements.
Designs, plans, and supervises the construction of machinery to improve process or product quality using R&M process.
Reviews manufacturing process/work standards and help ensure standardization.
Coordinate automation campaigns.
Benchmark best practices and identify improvement opportunities.
Review Lean Design Standards and ensure sustainability.
Monitor & track major losses and provide leadership to eliminate them.
Evaluate & help optimize PM tasks.
Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and body tooling techniques, in addition to networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, remote IO.
Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends.
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
1+ years’ experience of Microsoft Office
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Fanuc robot experience
Kawasaki programming experience
Experienced in laser burning
Simulation modeling exposure experience
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping experience
DMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experience
Experience with TQM and Kaizen Methods
FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs experience
Visual Factory Management experience
