We are seeking experienced candidates for a Senior Business Development Lead position in our Allen Park, MI location.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Global Skill Teams, Business Units, and the Global Strategy team to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and leverage internal and external perspectives to:
  • Identify areas for potential inorganic business development and/or disposals
  • Lead a coordinated response on inbound opportunities
  • Assist in sourcing deal flow
  • Lead deal processing for new ventures from inception to signing
  • Organize due diligence and functional teams
  • Develop valuation framework
  • Evaluate and recommend deal structure(s)
  • Manage documentation
  • Plan for integration
  • Assist in the disposal of non-core assets
  • Evaluate potential counter-parties
  • Manage sale process and documentation
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in finance / investment banking
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated capability in business and financial modeling
  • Automotive (or related) business experience, including exposure to different core elements of automotive strategy, e.g. product strategy, marketing, etc.
  • Strong record of business impact and influence
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Desire and ability to excel in a very unstructured environment
  • Teamwork skills – absolutely must work well within a cross-functional team and across the Ford enterprise
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills – able to independently interface with Senior Management and counterparties on a regular basis
  • Drive for results
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
  • Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
